The Philadelphia Flyers season has been a complete disaster.
The Flyers sit at the bottom of the Eastern Conference and have fired both their general manager and head coach already.
For a disaster season that doesn't involve significant injuries, the next step is to start selling off assets.
Flyers forward Wayne Simmonds is expected to be traded before the NHL trade deadline and has been attached to a couple of contenders so far.
While appearing on the NHL Network yesterday, Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman mentioned he believes Simmonds would be a good fit for the Montreal Canadiens.
The theory of adding Simmonds to the Habs' lineup for the playoffs is great, however general manager Marc Bergevin did state recently that he's not in the market for rentals unless the price is right.
If Bergevin can pull off some magic, would you like to see Simmonds in a Habs' uniform?
