Social media is buzzing thanks to Georges Laraque and his latest claims.
The 91.9fm radio host and former Habs' forward reported that Montreal Canadiens general manager Marc Bergevin met with Bob Hartley in Russia in regards to the Canadiens' head coaching job.
While it's confirmed that Bergevin is currently in Russia to meet with with Alexander Romanov and his agents, the Hartley story might just be that, a story.
KHL insider Aivis Kalnins reports that he can 100% confirm there was no meeting at all between Hartley and Bergevin.
Another KHL insider, Igor Eronko, reports that Hartley isn't even in Moscow at the moment and his team is on a road trip and won't be back until December 5.
Looks like Laraque might have to check his sources.

Bob Hartley is not in Moscow at the moment. Should be in Novosibirsk with Avangard. Will be back on December 5 https://t.co/tElwszcknY— Igor Eronko (@IgorEronko) December 2, 2019
