Former Montreal Canadiens' defenseman Andrei Markov is "all in" on trying to make an NHL comeback.
He's been out of the league for two years but just hired super agent Allan Walsh to go and find him an NHL contract.
Before hiring Walsh, Markov said his dream was to play for the Montreal Canadiens again.
Jonathan Drouin who's also a client of Walsh, held his golf tournament on Thursday which gave Walsh the chance to speak to the media and was asked about the Markov situation.
According to Eric Engels of Sportsnet, Walsh said Markov would like to finish his career as a Montreal Canadien but wouldn't reveal if they've had any discussions.
Walsh says he's already spoken to five NHL teams and doesn't believe Markov will need to sign a PTO.
Said Markov is willing to play anywhere in the NHL provided the fit is good.
