Over the last couple of weeks we've heard plenty of speculation regarding Max Domi's future in Montreal.
The Canadiens' forward will be a restricted free agent after the season with arbitration rights and some chatter grew that he was asking for too much money.
His decline in production has lead many to believe that Canadiens' general manager Marc Bergevin will have the advantage during negotiations and could lead to Domi being dealt.
However Eric Engels of Sportsnet just doesn't see it.
Engels reports that he hasn't heard from anyone that the Canadiens are even considering trading Domi.
He adds that Domi loves playing for Montreal and the Canadiens feel he's part of the future with his speed and offensive skill and would be a big piece of the team when they get to the playoffs.
A 24 team playoff format would give the front office the perfect opportunity for them to evaluate Domi.
Do you think the Canadiens would consider trading Domi?
