It's a long week off for the Montreal Canadiens and an even longer week off for forward Tomas Tatar.
The 30 year old forward was made a healthy scratch last Saturday against the Maple Leafs and since then has heard his name thrown around in trade rumours and was even called out by general manager Marc Bergevin.
Bergevin said the healthy scratch was a clear result of Tatar's overall play.
With four goals in 14 games, Tatar was moved to a line with Jesperi Kotkaniemi and Joel Armia yesterday at practice and today met with the media for the first time since the scratching.
Tatar was asked about if he feels he has any future in Montreal and was blunt with his answer.
"I wish I had an answer...we'll see what the future will bring..."
Tatar added that all contract negotiations are between his agent and Bergevin and the winger is just trying to focus on hockey at the moment.
What do you think of Tatar's comments?
