The Montreal Canadiens had a tough night against the Nashville Predators last night as once again they simply weren't able to get it done on the power play.
While the power play has been one of the team's biggest downfalls this season, one player who doesn't get any power play time has been one of the team's biggest bright spots.
Phillip Danault has put together an incredible season and is on pace for a career best season at 25 years old.
Danault currently has 40 points in 57 games so far this season, what really stands out about those stats is that it's pretty much all come from 5 on 5 play.
So much so that he has more 5 on 5 points than David Pastrnak and Tyler Seguin and right beside Evgeni Malkin, Ryan Johansen and Logan Couture.
