The Montreal Canadiens lost their eighth straight game last night for the second time this season.

With the season passed the halfway mark, it's starting to look more and more like the team will be sellers when the NHL trade deadline comes around.

While some fans want to see Marc Bergevin and Claude Julien fired or Carey Price and Shea Weber traded, none of these are likely to happen.

The team is in "reset" mode and it will likely stay the course hoping for a nice lottery pick if they don't make the playoffs.

That means we can expect a couple of guys to be shipped out of town at the trade deadline.

Who could that be?

Don't expect any blockbusters as the three most likely guys to be shipped out of town are Ilya Kovalchuk, Marco Scandella and Nate Thompson.

All players that can help other teams for their playoff push and bring back some draft picks.
