When you go from the Stanley Cup Finals to cellar dweller in one season it's definitely frustrating for everybody involved.
We've seen the frustration really boil over during the last week as Ben Chiarot was caught on camera yelling at Adam Brooks on the bench after bad goal and Brooks would later be placed on waivers.
We clearly saw it earlier this week when Brendan Gallagher clocked Barclay Goodrow in the face.
Is there tension behind the scenes between Habs' head coach Dominique Ducharme and top defenseman Jeff Petry?
There's been some speculation that the two sides aren't getting along and Petry's struggles aren't helping.
The Canadiens head coach was asked about the duos relationship.
“He's one of the players I have the most communication with,” said the coach. "With the departures of [Shea] Weber and [Corey] Perry, he's part of the leadership group in the locker room. It is part of that nucleus. ”
“He's a guy I love working with,” added Ducharme. "Would he like to do better? Certainly. It is up to us to offer him points of reference so that he finds his game. "
What do you think of Ducharme's comments?
