The Montreal Canadiens have brought defenseman Alexander Romanov over from Russia and it'll cause some roster changes.

Romanov is pretty much guaranteed a spot on the roster and in the top six which means someone will have to go.

The original train of thought was that Brett Kulak would be the odd man out and even Kulak admitted it during the season however his play during the playoffs has won over management.

Kulak looked solid during the Canadiens' Stanley Cup run and it seems to have secured him a spot for next year.

That's why Marc-Antoine Godin of The Athletic reports that Victor Mete is the most likely player to be traded aside from Max Domi.

After breaking through as a youngster, Mete hasn't really lived up to the hype and has gone from Shea Weber's partner to a bottom pairing dman.

What kind of a return do you think the Canadiens could get for Mete?
