We're just a couple of weeks away from the NHL trade deadline and we've already seen some action.

The Toronto Maple Leafs landed their backup goalie and the Pittsburgh Penguins gave up a nice little haul to land Jason Zucker.

After shipping Zucker to Pittsburgh, the Minnesota Wild will likely make more moves as they try and give the team a facelift under new GM Bill Guerin.

One of the players that has been mentioned on trade bait boards is defenseman Matt Dumba.

The 25 year old defenseman isn't a rental as he's signed through the 2022-23 season at $6million per season.

Wild insider Michael Russo revealed the starting point to land Dumba is a 1st round pick, a prospect and a centre.

A hefty price and the Wild won't move him unless they can land it.
