The Pittsburgh Penguins are getting ready for their first round matchup against the Montreal Canadiens.
While the team is focused on the five game series, their always busy general manager, Jim Rutherford, is also focused on next year.
Only about a year after acquiring him, the Pens' GM is already looking to trade a forward he brought in.
According to Josh Yohe of The Athletic, the Penguins are looking to move forward Nick Bjugstad.
The 27 year old was brought in before last year's trade deadline but just hasn't seemed to click and this year he just hasn't been able to stay healthy.
Bjugstad had surgery back in March and won't participate in the 24 team playoff.
