The Ottawa Senators are at home watching the playoffs once again and the front office is preparing for the upcoming draft and next season.

Ottawa's rebuild is slowly coming along and they have the #3 and #5 picks at the upcoming NHL Draft.

While young talent is coming in, it also means other talent is going out and that's why according to Hailey Salvian of The Athletic, they're expected to let at least four free agents walk.

Salvian reports there's zero chance the Senators do anything to keep long time goalie Craig Anderson around and they'll also let Mikkel Boedker, Scott Sabourin and Matthew Peca walk.

To top it off, Salvian adds there's a 50-50 chance that the Sens keep Ron Hainsey and Mark Borowiecki around.

Can't imagine fans will be too happy about seeing two longtime warriors in Anderson and Borowiecki walk instead of finishing their careers in Ottawa.

Anderson has been connected to the Habs as a possible backup goalie for Carey Price next year.
