The Montreal Canadiens won't be selling any of their big names before the deadline according to Renaud Lavoie.

However that doesn't mean they might sell some of their role players.

We've heard that Nate Thompson might be on the block and now it seems some of the bottom pairing defenseman might be drawing interest.

According to Eric Engels of Sportsnet, the Carolina Hurricanes have been heavily scouting defensemen Brett Kulak and Marco Scandella.

The Hurricanes need some defensive help and Engels adds that Hurricanes senior vice-president of hockey operations Rick Dudley has been seen at the Bell Centre "for a third or fourth time over the last few weeks."

What could of a return do you think they could get from the Hurricanes?
