The Montreal Canadiens made some noise on Saturday as they traded David Schlemko and Byron Froese to the Philadephia Flyers for Dale Weise and Christian Folin.
The move gives the Canadiens some additional depth on the fourth line if Weise can prove to be useful while in Laval, and also gives the team some depth on the right side of the blue line with Noah Juulsen's season in question.
While it's good news for the Habs depth, it looks like it's bad news for one of their younger players.
During Hockey Night in Canada, Elliotte Friedman reported that forward Charles Hudon was a last minute scratch and that he'll likely be dealt.
Friedman added the Canadiens are likely looking for a mid round pick to give him up and are hoping to find a taker so they can bring up Weise from the AHL.
Would you be ok with the Habs letting go of Hudon?
