The Montreal Canadiens are looking to stay in the playoff push and if in line to land a spot, they might be willing to make a move at the deadline.
General manager Marc Bergevin is reportedly looking overseas as well.
According to NHL insider Elliotte Friedman, the Canadiens are the frontrunners to land a KHL forward.
Friedman reports that the Canadiens lead the race to sign KHL forward Konstantin Okulov.
The 24 year is looking to make the jump over to the NHL and has quite the amount of interest from NHL teams.
Okulov had 20 goals in 48 games last year for CSKA Moscow and six goals and eight assists in 23 games so far.
