The Montreal Canadiens have a lot of work to do this offseason.
General manager Marc Bergevin will have lots of holes to fill and while we'll see all our young guns back, there's going to be some familiar faces gone.
According to NHL insider Dave Pagnotta, they'll be pushing hard to bring home a Quebecer.
Pagnotta reports that the Canadiens have inquired about forward Anthony Beauvillier.
The 24 year old is a restricted free agent with arbitration rights and the Islanders have some salary cap issues.
Beauvillier registered 15 goals and 28 points in 47 games this year after putting 18 goals and 39 points in 68 games last year.
Do you think Beauvillier would be a perfect fit on the Habs?
Hearing the Canadiens have been actively exploring the forward market, looking to add up front. One player they’ve inquired about is Anthony Beauvillier.
