It's been a wacky and wild last week for the Montreal Canadiens and their fans.
We might have seen the last of Shea Weber playing NHL hockey, Carey Price's future is uncertain as well and everything indicates Phillip Danault won't be back in a Canadiens uniform.
While the big topic now links Price to the Seattle Kraken, it might actually be Danault who's the one wearing a Kraken uniform next year.
According to NHL insider Frank Seravalli, the Kraken are targeting Danault as their possible selection off the Canadiens roster.
They would then sign him immediately to a free agent contract.
Seravalli adds that according to multiple sources, this is the Kraken's ideal plan to strengthening their center ice position immediately.
It's interesting to point out that Danault has also put his house up for sale this week.
More details to come.
