The Montreal Canadiens continue to prepare for their game against the Buffalo Sabres on Wednesday.

Through the first two games, everybody has looked pretty solid including forward Jonathan Drouin who struggled during the preseason.

Drouin has actually been one of the team's best players and one of the only players to not be on the ice for a goal against.

The Habs' locker room has definitely taken notice of Drouin's play and alternate captain Paul Byron made a pretty big statement regarding the froward.

“He’s probably been our best player other than Carey. His effort...his skating...his intensity.....that’s the player we all know he can be.”

It's great to hear the rest of the team believes in the young forward and is pulling for him.

We'll see if he can keep it rolling on Wednesday.
