It's been a tough last couple of days for NHL goaltenders during what is supposed to be a festive time around Thanksgiving.
Yesterday we learned that Minnesota Wild goalie Devan Dubnyk is dealing with a really scary situation as his wife has fallen really ill and doctors have no idea what it is at the moment.
Now another NHL goalie has been hit with some tragic news.
Vegas Golden Knights goalie Marc Andre Fleury has left the team to head back to Montreal to deal with a serious family illness.
No other details were revealed except the fact that Fleury would be away from the team for an underdetermined period of time.
Golden Knights head coach Gerard Gallant told reporters that there's "no timeline" for Fleury's return.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to both the Dubnyk and Fleury families as they go through some tough situations.
