Last season things looked pretty dark for the Montreal Canadiens.
A couple of eight game losing streaks, disappointing performances and more injuries than imagined had the Canadiens out of the playoffs.... again.
However luck was on the Canadiens side as the season was put on hold and the Canadiens eventually found themselves participating in the bubble playoffs.
Prospects Nick Suzuki and Jesperi Kotkaniemi stepped into their own during the bubble playoffs and both players are fully aware of the pressure that will come this season to live up to those expectations.
Suzuki revealed to reporters on Tuesday that he's had the conversation with Kotkaniemi about the pressure and upcoming the season and the two only have one goal in mind.
"We want to be important players for this franchise moving forward & we talked about building our game towards winning a Stanley Cup"
