It was a crazy day in Habs' land yesterday and unfortunately it ended with a 4-1 loss to the Bruins in Boston.

While that loss really hurts the Canadiens chances at making the playoffs, there was a different storyline that literally set social media on fire during the day.

Kypreos reported that Shea Weber's season was likely over and even went as far as saying the future of his career was in question.

A couple of hours later the Canadiens released that Weber was simply suffering from an ankle sprain and would be out 4-6 weeks.

Instead of apologizing Kypreos doubled down on his comments.

"Hopeful for the Canadiens, Shea fully recovers in 4-6 wks. But I stand by my story that the@CanadiensMTL concern going into this week was tendon related and not optimistic for his return. Long term questions I believe remain."

What do you think of Kypreos' comments?
