Montreal Canadiens' forward Jonathan Drouin spoke out for the first time this week after leaving the team last season for personal reasons.

Drouin revealed that he has dealt with anxiety his whole life and hit a wall while the team was in Calgary.

It was so bad that Drouin had taken warm ups and decided to walk away before the game started.

Drouin's openness has received praise from fellow players, media members and fans one of which was former teammate and good friend Max Domi.

Domi took to Twitter to praise Drouin for his actions.

"So proud of my brother. No one loves the game more than Jo. It takes a lot of strength to step away from the game you love. Your health always comes first and I know this will help so many people by reminding them of that. Pumped to see you get back out there"

What do you think of Domi's comments?
