It's no secret, the Los Angeles Kings are in sell mode and are hoping to get rid of some players before the NHL trade deadline.

They've moved on from Ilya Kovalchuk and have been listening to offers on forward Tyler Toffoli and according to Pierre LeBrun are looking to move a defenseman too.

LeBrun reports that the Kings have made it clear to other teams around the league that Alec Martinez is available.

The NHL insider adds that one  executive believes it would only take a second round pick and a prospect to land the 32 year old.

Pretty interesting considering that Jake Muzzin was moved for a first round pick.

Martinez is signed through the 2020-21 season at $4million per season.
