The Montreal Canadiens and general manager Marc Bergevin made some pretty significant moves this offseason.

Tyler Toffoli, Josh Anderson, Joel Edmundson and Jake Allen will all play big roles for the team next year.

The Canadiens' general manager has mostly been praised for his offseason work and after years of having an abundance of salary cap space decided to use it.

Is he done?

He might not be.

According to NHL insider Eklund from HockeyBuzz, the Canadiens have been speaking to the Calgary Flames about forward Johnny Gaudreau.

"Following up on a lead that the Canadiens have talked "very seriously" in the last few days with the Flames regarding Johnny Gaudreau. This is interesting on several levels, not the least of which comes the news that people close to Gaudreau are saying he may have played his last game in Calgary."

The Habs don't have any cap space left so it would take a piece going back the other way, possibly Tomas Tatar and some prospects or draft picks.

Would you like to see Gaudreau in a Canadiens uniform?
