It's been a bit of a disaster for Max Domi in Columbus and that's putting it nicely.
His first full season in Columbus isn't even finished yet and people are labelling it the worst trade in franchise history.
Domi has bounced up and down the lineup along with being benched a couple of times this season. The 26 year old has registered 7 goals and 12 assists so far this season along with a -18 +/- rating.
He really lost his cool against the Chicago Blackhawks recently which saw him going after Connor Murphy and now it seems that Blue Jackets' head coach John Tortorella has had enough.
Tortorella announced this morning that Domi will be a healthy scratch tonight against the Florida Panthers.
The Blue Jackets head coach wouldn't give details on why Domi has been scratched but it's clearly something to do with his discipline. Domi lost it again this past weekend against the Dallas Stars when he went off on Rhett Gardner.
The 26 year old is signed through the 2021-22 season on a contract that carries a $5.3million AAV.
