The Montreal Canadiens hit the ice at the Bell Sports Complex in Brossard this afternoon.

Montreal is looking to build off their two wins in a row and keep it rolling against the Chicago Blackhawks on Wednesday night.

There was some pretty big news at practice this morning.

Joel Armia was back on the ice at practice in a full contact jersey.

Pretty big news as head coach Claude Julien recently said he didn't expect him back before the All-Star game.

Armia rotated with Nick Cousins on the third line beside Jesperi Kotkaniemi and Ryan Poehling.

After practice Armia said he's hoping he gets to play for the upcoming All-Star Break.

Here's a look the lines at today's practice:

Tatar - Danault - Kovalchuk
Lehkonen - Domi - Suzuki
Poehling - Kotkaniemi - Cousins/Armia
Peca - Thompson - Weal/Weise

Chiarot - Weber
Scandella - Petry
Mete - Fleury
