When it was starting to look like the NHL was going to cancel the rest of the 2019-20 season and head straight to the playoffs there was some complaints.

Especially when it was revealed that it would be a 24 team playoff bracket.

One of the biggest complaints was that the Montreal Canadiens would make the cut and have a fresh and rested Carey Price.

The Canadiens' first round opponent, the Pittsburgh Penguins, were one of the teams to complain.

During a recent conference call Brendan Gallagher was asked about the Penguins complaining about facing Price in a best of five series.

"I imagine if they are unhappy, it's a good thing for us. We obviously know what kind of challenge it would be for us. We are going to face two of the best players in the world. So it's a good challenge, but as an athlete you want to be tested and you can't wait to see how you cope in these situations. It will be a good test for our group, for sure, especially for the guys who have not had the chance to experience the playoffs. We will see what we can do. To say that we are going to present ourselves without confidence or without hope would be false. If there is one thing I know about our group, it is that if we were given an opportunity, we would take it."

What do you think of Gallagher's comments?
