San Jose Sharks forward Evander Kane is having a pretty good start to the season with nine goals in 13 games so far, however it continues to be rough off the ice.
According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Kane is being sued by The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas for failing to pay back $500k in gambling markers.
From the article:
"The court documents state that Kane, who is a Canadian citizen, took out eight credits of varying amounts between $20,000 and $100,000 on or about April 15. That date would have fallen between Games 3 and 4 of the Stanley Cup first-round playoff series between the Sharks and the Vegas Golden Knights."
Kane signed a brand new deal with the Sharks back in May of 2018 for seven years and $49million.
