It's no secret, Columbus Blue Jackets forward Piere-Luc Dubois wants out of Columbus as soon as possible.

The stars seemed to be aligned because Dubois' availability through trade comes at a time when Montreal Canadiens' general manager Marc Bergevin is "all in" on the season having brought in some key pieces.

Last week NHL Insider Pierre LeBrun reported that the Canadiens were one of the teams that had talked to the Blue Jackets about Dubois and another NHL insider reports the same thing.

Elliotte Friedman reports in his latest "31 Thoughts" article that the Canadiens are in the race to land Dubois along with the Winnipeg Jets.

Obviously the price would be high to pay for Dubois, however it would likely be a winning investment as the 22 year old has 158 points in 235 NHL games which includes a 27 goal season in 2018-19.

Dubois also came out to play in a big way during the bubble playoffs with 10 points in 10 games.

What would you be willing to give up to land Dubois in a Canadiens uniform?
