Despite the Montreal Canadiens big win during Game 1 of their second round series against the Winnipeg Jets, a dark cloud hovers.
All that anybody is talking about is the dirty hit Jets' forward Mark Schiefele laid out on Canadiens' forward Jake Evans.
Evans, who was celebrating his 25th birthday, was taken off the ice on a stretcher.
On Thursday Ducharme gave an update regarding the forward.
Ducharme told reporters that Evans was feeling better and didn't need to be hospitalized last night.
He confirmed that Evans is sidelined with a concussion and will be out for undetermined period of time while he stays under the watch of team doctors.
