The Montreal Canadiens and Winnipeg Jets will faceoff tonight for Game 2 of the second round series.
Things will of course be heated after the dirty Mark Scheifele hit on Jake Evans which has Evans sidelined indefinitely and Scheifele suspended for four games.
While we've all seen how Jets' forward Nik Ehlers was helping out to make sure nobody landed on Evans, it seems the rest of the Jets didn't have the same care for the injured player on the ice.
TVA Sports' Renaud Lavoie reported some disturbing details about what was going on between the two benches after the hit.
Lavoie who was in the building, says that Jets' players were telling the Montreal bench it was all Evans' fault and telling Corey Perry to calm down because he did the same thing to John Tavares.
The Canadiens' insider adds that because of the comments a brawl almost broke out between the two benches but Jets' captain Blake Wheeler was able to defuse the situation.
