The Detroit Red Wings decided to go through some changes this summer and it started in the front office.
Detroit brought in Steve Yzerman to take over the general manager duties while Ken Holland eventually found his way to Edmonton to become the new Oilers general manager.
Since taking over in Detroit, Yzerman hasn't pushed through any major transactions, but that will likely change once the season is underway.
Ansar Khan of MLive reports that one of the players that will be moved is veteran defenseman Mike Green.
Khan adds that the Wings expect Green to be healthy this season and won't finish the season in Detroit.
The 33 year old has a 10 team no trade list and the Wings are likely only looking for a draft pick in return.
Even though he dealt with some injury issues last season Green still registered 26 points in 43 games.
