The clock is ticking down and everybody wonders what the Montreal Canadiens and general manager Marc Bergevin will do before the trade deadline.

One name that continues to surface is forward Tomas Tatar who would definitely bring great value to a team and their Stanley Cup run.

However there's also been strong reports that Bergevin is unwilling to move Tatar.

On Thursday Tatar said he wants to be part of what the Canadiens are building moving forward and said his heart was in Montreal.

On Friday his linemate Phillip Danault said he would not be happy about a Tatar trade.

“I would be pissed off, for sure,” Danault said. “We’ve had good chemistry the last two years. He’s a hell of a player. But I would be … I don’t know. I’d rather not think about it.”

Danault explained what makes Tatar so good and irreplaceable.

“I think it’s the way he’s opportunistic, that’s why he’s tough to replace,” Danault replied. “Even if he has a game that’s not great, he manages to get a point. That’s the type of player he is, a very opportunistic player. You don’t find guys like that on every street corner. He’s a very important part of the team.”

What do you think of Danault's comments?
