The Montreal Canadiens are back on the ice tonight after an extra day between the games.

A trip to Washington starts off a three game road trip for the Habs which also includes stops in Buffalo and Pittsburgh.

Unfortunately one Canadiens' defenseman won't be joining the team on the trip.

Brett Kulak is sidelined with a "lower body injury" and didn't travel with the team to Washington.

It's just another injury in a long list of bad luck for the Canadiens this season whether it comes to key pieces or depth pieces, they've felt the injury bug up and down the lineup.

Kulak has 5 assists in 20 games so far this season.
