It's no secret, times are tough in Calgary right now.

The Calgary Flames are up against the salary cap with just $9.4million in cap space available and still need to sign restricted free agents Matthew Tkachuck and Sam Bennet.

Going back to the NHL Draft the Flames have been trying to execute a salary cap dump by trading TJ Brodie, Travis Hamonic and James Neal however there haven't been any takers.

Getting desperate, Flames general manager Brad Treliving added forward Michael Frolik to the trade block as he tries to free up that cap space, however like Hamonic and Brodie, there hasn't been any takers.
Is the price too high?

Tough to say, or people just don't want what the Flames have to offer so Treliving has added a fifth player on the trade block.

Calgary has placed Michael Stone on the trade block as well.

Just like Brodie and Hamonic, Stone is in the final year of his contract which carries a $3.5million salary cap hit, however it also carries a 15 team no trade list.

Do you think the Flames will ever be able to move any of these players?
