The Montreal Canadiens are looking like they'll finally drop the puck again on same game action this week.
They'll still be down a couple of players but it's obviously looking better than it has the last couple of weeks.
One player who won't be joining the team is Brendan Gallagher who's currently dealing with an injury and not practicing.
There's been some chatter that he could be moved before the deadline and one Canadiens' analysts suggest he should be reunited with his Phillip Danault.
Tony Marinaro of TSN690 suggests the Habs ship Gallagher off to the Los Angeles Kings for Dustin Brown and his expiring contract.
Former Habs' GM Marc Bergevin was just hired by the Kings and he still has a very, very soft spot for Gallagher.
"LA Kings need goal scoring. Veteran leader Dustin Brown is 37yrs old. His 8 yr deal X $5,875m per yr is over at years end & he'll most likely retire. If I'm Jeff Gorton & the Habs go rebuild - I call LA & offer Brendan Gallagher. Bergevin is a fan & BG has chemistry with Danault." proposed Marino on Twitter.
