We had some shocking news earlier today when the Montreal Canadiens announced that Claude Julien had been taken to hospital with chest pain and now we have new updates concerning the state of the head coach.

Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports confirmed that Julien was currently doing ok at the hospital and that he was recovering well following his discomfort that occurred last night.

Lavoie added that medics are still trying to find the cause of the coach's chest pain while confirming that Kirk Muller will remain the coach of the Canadiens indefinitely.

News about Claude Julien's state of health is trickling in, but we are very happy to learn that he appears to be out of any sort of danger zone as chest pains can be a very scary situation.

Prompt recovery coach!
