A bombshell was just dropped on the hockey world this afternoon, especially in the world of the Montreal Canadiens.

NHL insider Nick Kypreos reveals that disgruntled Columbus Blue Jackets' forward Pierre-Luc Dubois' destination of choice is the Montreal Canadiens.

However the price to pay is pretty expensive as Kypreos says the trade would have to revolve around Nick Suzuki and Kypreos adds that general manager Marc Bergevin has labelled Alexander Romanov as an untouchable.

With Bergevin unlikely to be willing to trade Suzuki and the Blue Jackets likely standing firm in their ask, it's hard to imagine a trade like this happening.

We'll see how this develops over the coming days and weeks.

Would you trade Suzuki for Dubois?
