The Montreal Canadiens and general manager Marc Bergevin announced a contract signing on Friday.
Bergevin continues to be busy ahead of the NHL trade deadline and inked up another contract.
After trading for Eric Staal and signing Cole Caufield, Bergevin signed one of his Laval Rocket defenseman.
The team has agreed to terms on a one-year contract (2021-22) with defenseman Corey Schueneman.
The agreement will see Schueneman earn $750,000 at the NHL level, while he is set to make $175,000 in the AHL.
The 25 year old has 7 points in 21 games so far this season.
