The Montreal Canadiens will have one of their top prospects join them at training camp.

Forward Jesse Ylonen has accepted to be vaccinated and got his first dose tonight.

It’s more than likely Ylonen would not have been allowed near any of the NHL players unvaccinated.

Not only does getting vaccinated help him for camp but also helps his AHL season. Speculation was that Ylonen would have only been allowed to play in AHL games that took place in Canada. That would have definitely cut his season down considerably and hurt his chances moving forward.
