The Montreal Canadiens and general manager Marc Bergevin announced a roster move on Monday.
Less than 24 hours after placing forward Paul Byron on waivers, the team has made a move with another forward.
Bergevin announced today that forward Michael Frolik has been sent to the Laval Rocket.
It's simply a conditioning stint as Frolik has yet to play this season so he'll get some action in with the Rocket.
This is a pretty good indication that Frolik will play with the Canadiens when they come back from their week off.
More details to come.
The Canadiens have assigned forward Michael Frolik to the AHL’s Laval Rocket for conditioning purposes. The Club plans to re-assign him to the taxi squad on Saturday.
