The Montreal Canadiens will once again be participating in a rookie tournament before training with the Ottawa Senators however this year the Toronto Maple Leafs have dropped out.

The Leafs have decided to join the Traverse City Tournament which takes place in Detroit and features eight teams in total.

Montreal and Ottawa will be joined by Winnipeg this year as the rookie tournament takes place in Belleville, Ontario.

The Canadiens' released the list of prospects set to participate this year and there's some pretty good names.

Cole Caufield is not on the list however which indicates that he's pretty much guaranteed to play this season in the NCAA.
