The Montreal Canadiens and general manager Marc Bergevin continue to trim down their roster for the season opener later this week.

Bergevin put two pretty surprising names on waivers after putting Noah Juulsen and Jordan Weal on waivers yesterday.

Newly signed forwards Corey Perry and Michael Frolik both found themselves on waivers on Monday.

Pretty surprising move considering they were both expected to steal a roster spot and now they'll hope they make it to the taxi squad.

The other shocking move of the day is that Juulsen was claimed by the Florida Panthers.
