Earlier today Montreal Canadiens' head coach Claude Julien announced that defenseman Cale Fleury had been scratched from this afternoon's lineup.

The young defenseman had finally gotten back in the lineup last Thursday and looked good, so fans were pretty upset he was scratched today.

However now we know why he was scratched.

The Canadiens announced that Fleury has suffered a minor injury.

"It’s nothing major. Enough not for him to be comfortable to play. We’ll see about tomorrow. He’s day-to-day. I’d say doubtful (against Minnesota), but not automatically out. If anything, I think he should be good within the week at worst." Julien said.

Hopefully it's not too long.
