The Montreal Canadiens and head coach Claude Julien announced some roster changes for tonight.
With Nick Cousins back in Montreal and an optional practice this morning, the only change expected for tonight was Keith Kinkaid getting his first start with Canadiens however that's changed.
Julien announced two changes to the lineup tonight for their game against the Sabres in Buffalo.
Both Mike Rielly and Christian Folin will draw into the lineup for Brett Kulak and Cale Fleury.
Kulak and Fleury have looked good so far during the first two games, and Rielly and Folin will get some action so that they can be hopefully showcased a bit and stay fresh. At the same time it gets Cale Fleury the opportunity to play in the home opener and second half of back to backs.
What do you think of Julien's lineup changes?
Canadiens announce Reilly and Folin are in for Kulak and Fleury tonight. When asked this morning if there were changes other than Kinkaid tonight, Claude Julien said, “Not for now.”
