The Montreal Canadiens and general manager Marc Bergevin announced a contract extension on Friday.
The Canadiens have signed forward Lukas Vejdemo to a one year two way contract worth $700k at the NHL level and $105k at the AHL level.

"The 6'2'' and 196 lbs forward played 47 games with the Laval Rocket in 2019-20, recording 19 points (9 goal, 10 assists) and serving 20 penalty minutes. Vejdemo also played seven games with the Canadiens this season, scoring his first NHL career goal on March 10, 2020 against the Nashville Predators.
Vejdemo collected 48 points (22 goals, 26 assists) in 113 AHL career games with the Rocket. Prior to his arrival in North America, the Stockholm, SE native registered 47 points (19 goals, 28 assists) in 147 games with Djurgardens (SHL). "
