The Montreal Canadiens quietly made some pretty surprising moves.
According to Brian Wilde of Global, the Canadiens have parted ways with two front office members including one who's been there for over 20 years.
Wilde reports that both Dominick Saillant and Francois Marchand have been let go by the Canadiens.
Saillant was senior director of hockey communications for the last 17 years and had spent 23 years in total with the Canadiens organization.
Marchand was serving as the manager of hockey communications.
Oh no. I just opened my email and saw that Dominick Saillant and Francois Marchand have been let go by the @CanadiensMTL Oh, this really hurts. These are such fine human beings who took a ridiculously difficult job and made it look easy with their people skills. Dammit.
