The injuries continue to roll in for the Montreal Canadiens and now they've just been hit at the most important position.
With Carey Price already sidelined, the Canadiens seem to have possibly lost Jake Allen as well.
Allen was knocked out of yesterday's game against the Detroit Red Wings after he was rammed into by Wings' forward Dylan Larkin.
Allen tried to stay in the game but was quickly pulled by concussion spotters and didn't return.
General manager Marc Bergevin has decided to take no chances and called up top goalie prospect Cayden Primeau.
Samuel Montembeault has struggled so far this season for the Habs despite some big saves last night, Primeau on the other hand has been spectacular during his time in the AHL so far this season.
The 22 year old Primeau has a 2.41 goals against average and .916 save percentage so far this season along with two shut outs.
It's very possible he gets the start today, more details to come.
