Earlier today the Montreal Canadiens made a huge announcement.
They had temporarily laid off 60% of it's staff across all stages including the Laval Rocket and Group CH.
The team has also revealed that all remaining employees will take a 20% pay cut and that includes hockey operations with the Canadiens and Rocket minus the players.
This includes general manager Marc Bergevin and head coach Claude Julien.
Sportsnet's Eric Engels reveals all departments in the organization have been scaled back from PR staff to web staff to arena maintenance crews.
Meaning GM Marc Bergevin, his staff, coach Claude Julien and his staff, and management and coaching staffs with Laval are taking 20% pay cuts for the time being. And so on throughout the organization. 2/
