The Buffalo Sabres are once again on the outside looking in when it comes to the playoffs.

With another season of struggle, two Sabres' players have requested a trade and it seems one might finally get their wish, kind of.

According to NHL insider Darren Dreger, Bogosian will be placed on unconditional waivers today for the purpose of terminating his contract.

This will make Bogosian free to sign with any team he wants and there will likely be a couple of interested teams.

He'll be a solid depth addition for any team making a Stanley Cup run and would likely be willing to sign an affordable deal for the rest of season.
